What is ValveDesk?
ValveDesk is a vintage tube tone colorator designed to add warmth, texture, and harmonic character to individual tracks and mix buses.
It features three distinct tube types for different harmonic flavors, plus a 3-band EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and an optional analog noise circuit.
From subtle glue to full-bodied saturation, ValveDesk enhances your sound with musical depth and classic character.

Tube Type Details
Type 1- Classic, Clear, Punchy
Harmonic profile: Dominated by odd harmonics (3rd, 5th, 7th), creating a dense midrange and
tight low end.
Sound character: Clear, aggressive, and for ward.
Delivers a tone similar to analog console or transistor-style drive.
Best for: Sources that need presence and definition.
Type 2 - Clean, Warm, and Musical
Harmonic profile: Even harmonics (2nd, 4th) are more prominent, while overall harmonic
distor tion remains minimal.
Sound character: The cleanest and smoothest tube mode.
It stays natural and stable even at higher input levels, providing warmth without breakup or
harshness.
Comparable to a vintage tube preamp running in its sweet spot.
Best for: Warm and organic tones, or when you want to refine and smooth the sound.
Type 3 - Saturated, Thick, Energetic
Harmonic profile: A rich blend of even and odd harmonics with high density across the full
range.
Sound character: Thick, dimensional, and energetic.
Adds depth and grit with light drive, and becomes more aggressive with higher input levels.
Best for: Sources that need strong presence, energy, and harmonic weight.
