  • (MAC) I see a message saying "App is from an unidentified developer" and the installer is blocked. What should I do?
macOS may show a warning when you try to open apps or installers downloaded from outside the App Store. This is a standard security precaution, and the MELTONE installer is safe and trustworthy software. You can allow the installation by following these steps: 1. Double-click the .pkg or .dmg file. 2. When the warning appears, click "Cancel" to close it. 3. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security. 4. Scroll down and find the message: "MELTONE_Installer.pkg was blocked because it is not from an identified developer." 5. Click the "Allow" or "Open Anyway" button next to it. After completing these steps, the installer will open normally without any further warnings.
  • Is GILLA ARP included in MELTONE?
Yes, it is included. You can access GILLA ARP by switching to the Advanced panel in MELTONE. It can be used either in combination with MELTONE’s sounds or on its own. Therefore, if you already own MELTONE, there’s no need to purchase GILLA ARP separately.
  • I just launched MELTONE (or GILLA ARP) for the first time, and a message popped up. I’m not sure what to do.
That message is asking you to install the GILLA ARP sound source file (.hr1). MELTONE and GILLA ARP require this sound source to be installed manually on the first launch for them to work properly. Please make sure to check the installation guide included in the .dmg file. It explains every step you need to take on the first launch in detail, including how to install the sound source. Alternatively, you can follow the installation guide videos below: .hr1 File path - MAC: /Library/Application Support/quietformat/MELTONE (or GILLA ARP) - WIN: C:\Program Files\quietformat\MELTONE (or GILLA ARP)
