MELTONE 1.2.1 - Engine Upgrade & Feature Updates

​This update introduces significant improvements to the MELTONE synthesizer engine, along with new features and workflow enhancements.

1. Engine Upgrade

  • The MELTONE core engine has been upgraded for improved performance and future expandability.

  • ⚠️ We recommend updating to version 1.2.1 after completing ongoing projects started with version 1.1.0, as engine-level changes may cause parameter mismatches in existing DAW sessions.

  • This upgrade was necessary to ensure stability and allow for easier implementation of future features.

2. LFO1 Sync Button

  • Added a Sync toggle to LFO1 (Filter LFO) for tempo-synced modulation.

3. VCO2 Tune Real-Time Update

  • In previous versions, the VCO2 Tune knob did not update in real time while holding notes.

  • In version 1.2.1, tuning changes are now applied instantly, even when a note is sustained.

4. VCO2 Detune Buttons → Chorus Effect Buttons

  • The previous VCO2 Detune Buttons (I / II) have been replaced with Chorus Effect Buttons (I / II) for a more musical and versatile sound design workflow.

MELTONE 1.1.0 - Automation Fix

This update resolves a previously known issue with automation.

 

In version 1.0.0, automation was temporarily disabled due to a bug.
We’ve now fixed the issue and re-enabled full automation support for all parameters.

 

You can now automate MELTONE freely in your DAW as intended.

 

Factory Presets

 

⚠️ Note for MELTONE 1.0.0 Users

 

If you're updating from version 1.0.0, you may see duplicate factory presets in your preset list.

 

This is because the old presets had a number prefix (e.g. 1 GILLA, 2 HEEJAE)
which has now been removed in version 1.1.0.

 

To clean up your preset browser, you can delete the old numbered versions.

The delete button is enabled for those presets, so you can remove them if you'd like.
