GILLA ARP, built into MELTONE, is a generative engine based on the concept of Harmonic Particle Layering.

It reacts to the chords you play and generates a harmonically aligned stream of notes, creating evolving musical textures.

Pitch MPE Support

MELTONE supports Pitch MPE, allowing you to control pitch independently per note.

This means that even within a single chord, you can add subtle pitch movement to one note (vibrato), push notes up or down (bends), or create glide-like transitions per note, all separately.

When used with an MPE controller (or an MPE-capable environment like Ableton Live), you can achieve more natural and expressive pitch performance even in polyphonic playing.
